ABSTRACT

Treatment of scaphoid non-union can be difficult. Scaphoid fractures that do not fully heal can lead to carpal collapse and debilitating arthritis. There are multiple methods for treating this problem. We present the case of an 18-year-old male with a scaphoid non-union and proximal pole avascular necrosis treated with a 1,2 intercompartmental supraretinacular artery vascularized bone flap and anterograde headless compression screw.
