ABSTRACT

When glenoid bone loss develops following frequent or traumatic dislocations, the risk of recurrent anterior instability is elevated, rendering a soft tissue repair an inadequate treatment option. The Latarjet procedure involves transfer of the coracoid process to the anteroinferior glenoid with the conjoint tendon still attached and can restore glenohumeral stability in this high-risk patient population.
