ABSTRACT

Anterior glenohumeral instability is a prevalent but challenging condition to treat in active patients. Bankart lesions are a frequent complication of anterior shoulder dislocation and are characterized by soft tissue detachment of the anteroinferior labrum from the glenoid. Arthroscopic Bankart repair is an effective treatment when there is minimal or no bone loss and exhibits a number of advantages over open repair. More... »
