ABSTRACT

The present chapter summarizes the results of experiments aimed at identifying macromolecules whose extracellular concentration is increased during long-term potentiation (LTP). The main approach has been sampling of extracellular fluid, using a push-pull cannula, before and after the induction of LTP.
