ABSTRACT

This paper describes the experimental evaluation of a device to record real-time in situ acoustical holograms. The recording concept investigated, as shown in Figure 1, consists of a layer of thermoplastic (TP) spread over the surface of a rigid substrate. This report describes attempts to optimize both substrate and TP. In addition, an effective heating device for the TP is described. More... »
