ABSTRACT

Methods that under mild conditions can be used to purify cells and cell organelles have played a major role in the progress of cell biology and molecular biology. Since the tissues of higher organisms usually are made up of more than one cell type there is a need for methods that can isolate particular cells from mixtures.
