ABSTRACTCurrent research efforts in the field of photochemical conversion of solar energy are focusing on the following options: photochemical dissociation of water under the influence of metalcomplex catalysts [1–5];photoelectrochemistry based on photoelectronic transfers, the photogalvanic effect, stabilization of the products of photoelectronic transfers in the electric double layer at the phase boundary, etc. [4–10];reversible thermal dissociation of inorganic compounds (e.g., NH4HSO4) upon exposure to light with the use of the latent heat of melting [9–11];photosynthesis [9,10,12].
