ABSTRACT

Complex molecular impurities in alkali halide crystals possessing a series of clearly pronounced local modes represent an appropriate subject for studying the electron-phonon interaction of impurity centers. Of particular interest are impurity centers with the impurity electron coupled comparatively weakly to the lattice vibrations and where the impurity absorption band has a distinct vibronic structure. The resonant Raman scattering (RRS) method is a promising technique for investigating the electron-phonon interaction. More... »
