ABSTRACT

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) is the naturally occuring agonist for the Gprotein-coupled GnRH-receptor. GnRH stimulates the pituitary gland to produce luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). Both GnRH agonists and antagonists are potentially useful in the treatment of hormone dependent ailments.
