ABSTRACT

The molecular response to intense radiation field is a subject of growing interest. For diatomic molecules, the Multielectronic Dissociative Ionization (MEDI) has recently attracted a lot of attentions1-15. Experimental works have been devoted to N2 (ref.1-4), HI (ref.5), H2 (ref.5), CO (ref.7-10) and O2 (ref.11). Except for H2, the interaction leads to the formation of transient multicharged molecular ions which dissociate into energetic fragments. To understand the molecular response to the strong laser field excitation, we have to identify the transient molecular ions, we have to know at what time of the interaction they are created and what is their potential energy. 26 schema:description The molecular response to intense radiation field is a subject of growing interest.
