ABSTRACT

In studies of diffusive behaviour of alkali atoms in graphite intercalation compounds (GICs) quasielastic neutron scattering (QENS) experiments provide detailed information on the diffusion mechanism [1]. This technique was used for the investigation of diffusion and melting processes in a series of alkali GICs including also higher stages [2,3].
