ABSTRACT

The traditional view of conflict is that it is a struggle between people who are in the right and people who are in the wrong. If one wished to be more religious about it, our imprinting from childhood seems to say that conflict is a struggle between good and evil. A more realistic view of conflict is that it is a complex entanglement of many factors and opposing interests. We can usually find some good and some bad on both sides. There are times when we have seen fit to support one side as the good side overlooking the real mix of factors.
