ABSTRACT

Monitoring disease activity and treatment efficacy with trichoscopy is a new field of exploration. Available data show that the method may be useful in monitoring tinea capitis, scalp psoriasis, alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium, and other hair and scalp diseases, making trichoscopy a helpful tool beyond clinical practice.
