ABSTRACT

Aerosol dynamical simulations of coastal new particle formation have been performed in order to investigate the nucleation and growth mechanisms in this environment. In the simulations, it is assumed that the nucleating vapour is iodine dioxide. Both Eulerian and Lagrangian type simulations have been performed and compared to observations.
