Fifth-order diagonally implicit Runge–Kutta methods with a modified sparsity structure suitable for parallel implementations on three processors are developed. The efficiency of the methods in terms of accuracy to solve a standard set of problems is compared to an established method. From the results we can conclude the new methods are comparable to the existing method. More... »
