ABSTRACT

A hardware description of Genetic Algorithms is presented to handle optimization problems. Genetic Algorithm Processor (GAP) is a reliable and fast processor for emulating genetic algorithms in hardware. Following that the multiple genetic algorithm processor configurations have been described based on the GAP. The simulation results show that multiple genetic algorithm processor configurations work better than single configuration with lesser complexity.
