ABSTRACTProvided is a sample preparation method that enables DNA solution samples containing one target base sequence to be prepared. Real-time PCR is used to detect a base sequence that differs from the target base sequence in a DNA molecule that contains the target base sequence, and based on the results of the real-time PCR detection, solution samples that contain one DNA molecule are sorted from a group of solution samples that contain the DNA molecule at an average concentration of one or less per sample.
