ABSTRACT

A protein library which is a protein library consisting of proteins having amino acid sequences in which 4 to 12 types of amino acids are sequenced at random wherein the amino acids comprise Gly, Ala, Val and Glu or Asp; and a method of screening a protein having a structure or a function which comprises preparing the above protein library, analyzing the structures or functions of proteins constituting the library and selecting a protein having the aimed structure or function.
