ABSTRACT

The present invention relates to a novel p53 target gene SISP-1 (Stress induced Secreted Protein 1) and a SISP-1 protein encoded by the gene. The SISP-1 protein of the present invention induces apoptosis by interaction with p53. The present invention provides the use of the gene/protein associated with treating abnormal apoptosis such as tumor. More... »
