ABSTRACT

A graphene photodetector comprises: a first graphene; a graphene quantum dot layer formed on the first graphene and having multiple graphene quantum dots; and a second graphene provided on the graphene quantum dot layer. Additionally, the method for manufacturing the graphene quantum dot photodetector comprises the steps of: forming the first graphene; forming, on the first graphene, the graphene quantum dot layer having the graphene quantum dots; and manufacturing the first graphene/the graphene quantum dot layer/ the second graphene by forming, on the graphene quantum dot layer, the second graphene. The graphene quantum dot photodetector, according to one embodiment of the present invention, designs and manufactures the photodetector, which only comprises graphenes, using large-area graphene manufacturing technology and graphene quantum dot manufacturing technology, thereby having high-speed detectability and response and exhibiting, in broadband, excellent performances such as light reactivity and the like.
