ABSTRACT

Power semiconductor module comprises a housing, a power semiconductor component (4), and an insulating substrate (2) with a metallic layer (3) formed on its surface. The power semiconductor component is connected to the metallic layer via a layer made from carbon nanotubes (6) running orthogonal to the substrate surfaces. The substrate is connected to a base plate or cooling body (1) via a layer made from carbon nanotubes (5) or a paste mixture of the carbon nanotubes and a binder e.g. silicone oil. More... »
