ABSTRACT

The present invention is to a ferromagnetic unit (10) with an elongated structure which is provided along a longitudinal direction (11), directed, the a ferromagnetic material, wherein a transverse cross section (20) of the ferromagnetic material at right angles to the longitudinal direction is designed so that it comprises a domain wall - speed above the walker - by means of a fracture limit of the ferromagnetic material ensures. In particular, at least a portion (21 to 23) of a peripheral contour of the ferromagnetic material in the transverse cross section (20) of a not - orthogonal convex configuration. The entire peripheral contour may be, for example, a (not - orthogonal) convex polygon form.
