ABSTRACT

The present invention relates to standards suitable for the calibration of measuring devices, in particular of microscopes. More precisely, the present invention relates to devices for the calibration of a measuring device with the aid of marker molecules, wherein this arrangement as a calibration sample a first structure on the basis of a dna origami and wherein the dna origami by short dna sections is formed in a predetermined structure and, if necessary, there is arranged on a support, wherein a predetermined number of the short dna segments which the predetermined structure of the dna origami can be formed, has a predetermined number of a marker molecule. If necessary, the arrangement of at least a second of the first structure different structure on the basis of a dna origami have as a calibration sample. The arrangement for calibration of the measuring device is particularly suitable for measuring signals, in particular makes it possible to quantify on the basis of the number of photons per unit time a quantification of the fluorescence. In a further aspect, the application to a method for calibrating a measuring device, such as a microscope, with the aid of the calibration sample according to the invention as well as a kit for calibrating a measuring device and corresponding computer programs with program-code means, which are stored on a machine-readable carrier to carry out the process according to the invention, when the computer program is carried out on a processing unit.
