ABSTRACT

Graphene-dielectric heterostructure is a basic structure unit in graphene-based devices. The interfacial properties between graphene and dielectric layer have great influence on the performance of graphene devices. And transferring graphene on other substrates will damage the quality of graphene and introduce other defects and impurities, which is a big challenge to control the interface. Some earlier studies have found that metal atoms and molecular can intercalate graphene without damage to graphene. This research will focus on tuning the interfacial properties by intercalating dielectric materials between graphene and metal substrates. Then to understand the relationship between graphene and dielectric materials by measuring the transport properties of graphene, which may help us to further tune the properties of graphene by controlling the interface structure and promote the applications of graphene based devices.
