ABSTRACT

This project considers stabilization of PDE control systems with boundary observation which suffer from time delay. Based on our research for stabilization of one-dimensional Euler-Bernoulli beam equation system and Schrodinger equation system, the controller designed by inifinite-dimensional observer and estimated state feedback can stablize orginal time delay systems. However, for the high-dimensional PDE control systems, the stabilization is difficult to be proved. But from the view of the abstract well-posed, regular theory, the one-dimensional PDE control systems are similar as high-dimensional systems for designing stabilized controller. One aspect of this project will generalize our method to solve these kinds of high-dimensional PDE control systems with time delay. On the other hand, when time delay is varying, stabilization problem of PDE control systems is open for several years, this project also considers output feedack problem of PDE control system with varying time delay.
