ABSTRACT

The human origin and migration were the improtant topics for the science filed.As one most significant cradle of chinese civilization, Gansu and Qinghai region has played a pivotal role in the history of humankind, witnessing numerous waves of migration of different peoples at different times,and its human genetic structure was very complex. Late Neolithic Age was the key period for the populations migrated out of Gansu and Qinghai region , these movements had important impact on the development of central plain culture and Tibet-Burma culture, and tured the Gansu and Qinghai region into the source region for both Han people and Tibet people .Human genetic variation analysis for the Late Neolithic Age populations must be have significant for tracing the origin and development of Han people and Tibet people.In this project, we will analyze the ancient populations from two Late Neolithic cemeteries in the Gansu and Qinghai region using the anceint DNA technology through studing the two genetic marker- - mtDNA and Y-DNA SNPs, to show the population genetic variation from matenal and patrilineal.Comparing to the genetic data of the more ancient populations, the origin of this population and the relationship with neighboring populations will be reconstructed and the intercourse pattern will be discuss.Comparing to g More... »
