ABSTRACT

There are about 54 species of the world, which are distributed in China - the Himalayan region. There are 43 species known in our country. Due to the lack of field visits, there are few existing specimens, and there are still many problems in the treatment of species. Many of the important traits with potential classification and systematic significance are related to micro-morphology, pollen and cytology To the type of very little or even completely blank, molecular system data is also very few, only three kinds of ITS, trnL-F and ndhF sequence data, the current subordinate classification system is based on a very small number of traits established, the predictability is poor. This project intends to combine the work of the specimen room, the field investigation and the experimental method to study and analyze the classification and systematic significance of the traits of the main macroscopic morphological traits and microscopic traits of the genus And the use of multidisciplinary evidence to reconstruct the phylogeny of the genus Polygonum, to improve the classification system, so as to fully complete the taxonomy of the genus. The development of this project is critical to solve the systematic problems of the Micron family, but also to increase the understanding of the formation and differentiation of the Chinese-Himalayan flora.
