ABSTRACT

Pulsed laser deposition of thin films and coatings promising direction of applied and fundamental research. Methods of laser deposition give the possibility of obtaining films with controlled morphology and controlled composition. An essential advantage of these methods is the high deposition rate and the conservation of stoichiometry. In this project, the methods of laser deposition of multicomponent films (Au-Ag, Au-Ag-Cu, Ag-Ni, Ag-Ni-Fe, Ag-PbTe, Ag-PbTe-PbSe, etc.) - and nanoscale clusters. This approach allows us to create a separate class of materials that has a number of unique physical properties that will depend substantially not only on their composition, but also on the topology of the deposited structures (lateral dimensions, density, roughness, etc.).
