ABSTRACT

Nanotechnology is, from its foundation technical characteristics, have applicability to a wide range of areas of the food system. However, at present the development is limited, such as in nutrition food and packaging materials. In addition of Nanotechnology application to the agriculture and food sector, since it is present at the same time is also unknown risks and uncertainties related to health and the environment, when its social application, in dialogue with civil society is obtained from the development stage of the technology in there. in this study, to apply the civil participatory technology evaluation methods, aggregate the concerns and expectations of citizens compiled as recommendations, it was sent to the society.
