ABSTRACT

CA4-3 is acidic polysaccharides uniform structure in the Chinese Traditional Medicine Prescription Liu Wei Di Huang Tang as a Whole immunocompetent evaluation guide under gradual separation obtained. My studies show plenty of room, CA4-3 can improve learning and memory dysfunction in senescence accelerated mice, promote LTP in the hippocampus induced, and CA4-3 of microglia inflammatory cytokines TNF-alpha secretion inhibitor. Recent studies have found, Toll-like receptor (TLR) mediated innate immune response of microglia involved in the pathophysiology of AD, it can promote the activation of microglia were Aβ uptake, internalization, while promoting inflammatory cytokine secretion. TLR is now confirmed targets of polysaccharides, so the exact role of this study, the structure of the polysaccharide CA4-3 clearly targeted to TLR4 main line of research CA4-3 TLR-mediated Aβ clearance and microglia affect two aspects of inflammatory mediators, mechanisms of learning and memory improved when explore CA4-3 treatment AD. In this study, a new entry point, not only to further clarify CA4-3 improve learning and memory impairment mechanisms, and to explain the mechanism of immunoactive AD therapy provides a new way of thinking.
