ABSTRACT

Macrophages throughout atherosclerosis (AS) the occurrence and development of the whole process, determines the plaque vulnerability. Targeted Molecular Imaging of macrophages is atherosclerosis early prevention of hardening of the key. Urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA) and its receptor in the arterial wall AS especially macrophages express high specificity, a new research targets. In this study, PCR and fluorescence spectra prepared macrophage surface uPAR targeting MR - Double Labeled probe (Cy5.5-ATF-IO), by macrophages in vitro imaging and arterial intimal injury, intermittent fat-fed manufactured atherosclerotic rabbit model, and drug-induced excitation method produces vulnerable plaque (plaque rupture and thrombosis), to observe the distribution of tissue specific molecular probes, signal; compare the different diseases imaging characteristics stage; to explore the value of uPAR as a target for atherosclerotic disease molecular imaging; elucidate macrophage cells in diseases, changes of development and its mechanism of action.
