ABSTRACT

Graphene is one of the new materials are currently the most active in the field, it has many excellent physical and chemical properties. But aspects of graphene-based catalyst, there are many fundamental issues unresolved, for example, a metal nanoparticle / graphene heterostructures is how it formed? Metal atoms or clusters adsorbed or embedded into how graphene structure? How stable is defective? Graphene carbon atoms with impurity atoms or clusters of how bond? What type of bond between them is? Is there a strong charge transfer? During the reaction, the catalyst activity is what position? How the reactants are adsorbed on the catalyst surface and eventually formed product? Between (such as gold and bismuth) / graphene heterostructures atom, electronic structure, graphene defects (such as carbon vacancies, etc.) as well as the stability of the metal particles and defects in this project will use the first principle of Metal Nanoparticles the interaction was also studied metal nanoparticle / graphene catalytic activity of heterogeneous systems, reveal the key factors affecting the catalytic activity, provide theoretical guidance for the new graphene-based catalyst.
