ABSTRACT

Chinese Cabbage (Brassica rapa) is an important vegetable crop, is the main problem bolting spring cabbage production. FLC control vernalization response gene switch for regulating Brassica flowering time is very important. Cabbage presence genome 4 FLC sites, but due to lack of the necessary research materials, the lack of effect of different FLC sites and the interaction between them in-depth study. The project intends to use substantially the same genetic background series BILs groups for each FLC sites carry different alleles of selected materials. On the basis of different alleles and loci FLC and other phenotypic effects of deep analysis, you formulate FLC between genotype potent combinations of two, determine the combined phenotype. By analyzing the relationship between the phenotypic effects of gene combinations, to clarify the interaction between the different sites between FLC and its regulation of flowering. The study for the full use of FLC gene, cultivate cabbage late bolting variety of great significance. More... »
